Marshfield is a spacious oak clad cottage in beautiful Hampshire countryside only a short walk from the historic centre of Stockbridge. It has a large open plan living room, modern fitted kitchen, double bedroom and wetroom. Eco friendly insulation levels keep it cool in the summer and in winter there is cosy underfloor heating throughout. There is ample off-street parking and a sun deck if you just want to relax and take in the view.

Set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, Stockbridge is a haven for walkers, cyclists and those who prefer just to chill in beautiful surroundings. Anglers have the world-renowned river Test running through the town. Beside the river is the Test Way, a flat and easy walk along the route of the disused Spratt and Winkle railway line. Or for those wanting far reaching views there are the nearby Iron Age forts at Danebury and Stockbridge Down. There is also the picturesque Common behind the High Street with its riverside walk.

The beautiful rolling hills and woodland of the Hampshire countryside here lie midway between the two historic Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury. There are limitless opportunities for sight-seeing with the ancient bronze-age stone circles at Stonehenge and Avebury and the wooden circle of Woodhenge within 40 minutes to the North West. To the south is the beautiful unspoilt National Park, the New Forest and a short drive beyond that the sandy beaches of the sunny South Coast.

Stockbridge High Street was voted as the best Foodie Street in Britain in the Google Street View Awards. The wide High Street, has many independent specialist shops selling anything from gifts to fashion to gardening and kitchenware. There is a supermarket, delicatessen, wine shop, and several tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes.
